Arian, along with the tag team Naomi and her XXVIII WrestleMania was first seen in the XXVIII version. In the final week of 2012 she took part at TLC (Tables Ladders and Chairs) episode. In February 2013 she participated in her debut SmackDown event. Following that she began appearing on SmackDown Main event events and WWE other events. She joined Total Divas in September 2013 in the aftermath of the tag-team 7-on-7 match against True Divas. The match ended with her being defeated by Mendes. Her greatest victory came in February 2014's Elimination Chamber when she defeated AJ Lee. That next week, she faced a second match with Lee but was not able to keep the title. Ariana had to be matched up against Lee for an opportunity to win the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational Championship, that was taken by Lee. She was along with Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Summer Rae in July 2014 to take on Nikki Bella with a handicap six-on one match. However, she only appeared on the scene in the event of an assault by Nikki as well as Naomi. On the Battleground show, Ariana was paired with Naomi. In that match Ariana beat Naomi. The rivalry between them was formed in the aftermath. Through the summer, they competed at handicapped match singles as well as tag teams. Ariana was in match-ups with wrestlers from other teams, such as Paige Bella twins Alicia Fox and Asuka.
